Meditation for Stress

Do all kinds of things still happen in my life? Yes. Are they the same things that used to drive me crazy, make me stressed, depress me, and so on? Yes. Do they drive me crazy (depressed, angry, etc) now? No. Did that change my life?
Immeasurably. Let me be clear though: the whole spectrum of emotions are NORMAL, including anger, sadness, fear, and so on. You will not escape these instantly with meditation for stress unless you have a lobotomy. Inner peace comes from accepting your humanness, not in
rejecting it.

People are very often attracted to a personal growth path because they are unhappy with who they are, with other people, and with the world. They read spiritual literature and say "Wow! This sounds much better than what my life is like. Let's try this." Unfortunately, most of the methods are either developed by or taught by people who aren't there themselves (we teach what we need to learn) and a lot of them either don't work or aren't taught well enough so you actually"get it."

I think it is important to realize that no meditation for stress method, including our program, is going to iron out all the problems of life for you. You will still forget to pay your credit card bill once in a while and incur extra interest payments. You may still get a flat tire. Someone you love will die. Your teeth may need serious dental work. You may get sick. Your dog might die. You may get fired from your job. Your candidate may not get elected. You will get old (though more slowly if you're in the Centerpointe program!). You might lock your keys in the car. You'll get blisters on your feet if you walk too far. The toilet will overflow. You will get stuck in traffic. The clerk at the store will be a jerk.

On and on and on -- life is filled with small annoyances and sometimes crushing problems. You're not going to end this. Even great enlightened gurus and saints have human problems. Parmahansa Yogananda died of a heart attack. Sri Ramakrishna, died of throat cancer. The greatest saints and enlightened beings
still get headaches, lose their car keys, and get a paper cut once in a while, just like you. The difference is that they take all of this as just part of the dance of life and are not attached to it being different than it "is." They don't need to suffer over these things, which is a radically different approach to life.

As I've said many times, it is not the thing itself (whatever it is) that causes suffering, it is your resistance to it. Eliminate the resistance (attachment to it being other than it is) and you eliminate the suffering. And remember there is a difference between preferring that a thing be different and being attached to it being different.

What is the difference? One creates suffering, the other doesn't.

I've now been using Holosync meditation for stress, and seeing other people all over the world use it, for over 15 years now. It without a doubt creates, over time, a remarkable ability to allow the human experience to be whatever it is without it throwing you off center. In trying dozens of other approaches, some good, some worthless, and everything in between, I've never seen anything as potent in smoothing out the human condition. The rest -- the increases in mental abilities, the healing of emotional trauma, the slowing of the aging process, and so on -- is all gravy.
The real key is letting whatever is happening be okay.

If you can get to the point where you can let "what is" be whatever it is, you're free.

This doesn't mean you don't work to make things they way you would prefer them to be , it just means you are not attached to (and therefore do not suffer because of) the results.

And, because you are not attached, you have tremendous clarity, tremendous energy, and a much greater ability to influence what happens to you, which is why people in this state seem to have such good fortune, and seem to almost attract
"luck."

It is a great place to be, and I promise the Centerpointe meditation for stress program can take you there. It won't happen in a month or even in a year, but as sure as God made sunburn and tooth decay, it will happen.
